Services

Below you’ll find an overview of the services I offer and the scope of support available to families. These descriptions are intended to help you become familiar with each option and how different services can work together. During our initial consultation, I work with families to recommend a personalized approach based on the student’s goals, academic needs, and learning style.

Academic Skill / Recovery Package

 4 sessions
Session Length: 60mins, 90mins, 120mins
Value: $800–$1,600

Best for:

Students needing extra support in one or more classes in school, either to improve a grade or to enhance their understanding of the subject(s). This package is a fantastic choice for  students who wish to raise their grade to an A, students who want to improve one or two class-specific skills, students who are struggling to understand a subject, and students looking to acquire a language. Students’ areas of strength and areas needing improvement are identified, a recovery plan is drafted and then implemented over the course of four weeks. Sessions typically include a mix of concept review, drilling and practice, homework support, and test preparation/essay support as needed.

SAT / ACT Strategy Intensive

 4 Sessions

Session Length: 90mins, 120mins
Price: $1,800-$2,400

Best for:

Students who are new to standardized tests/the SAT/ACT, or students looking to bring their scores up by, on average, 200-400 points. Students get out of this Intensive what they put into it! This is a tough but rewarding Intensive that gets students incredibly familiar with the test’s structure, question types, and common traps, delves deep into each of the concepts tested, and trains them in the test-taking strategy I have developed and honed over the past decade. Students also receive coaching for test anxiety, pacing, and improving reading speed. Sessions also include targeted skill-building, drilling, and facilitated self-evaluation to help students gain agency over their improvement.

College Application Essay Intensive

4 sessions

Session Length: 90mins, 120mins
Price: $2,400–$3,000

Best for:

Students in the summer before 12th grade, and students in the fall of their senior year. This Intensive combines writing support with College Admissions strategy implementation, building off of what will give students the greatest edge in their applications. Sessions typically include brainstorming support, strategic outlining guidance, assistance cutting to fit word count, and full-scale writing support through each draft of each essay. Multiple essays may be worked on in a 4-session period.

College Planning & Selection Intensive (Non-Essay)

4 Sessions

Session Length: 60mins, 90mins
$2,000–$3,000

Best for:

Students and families seeking thoughtful, long-term college trajectory planning, whether beginning early in middle or high school or refining direction during the later years of preparation. This Intensive is particularly valuable for students who are motivated and capable but would benefit from clear strategic guidance around course selection, extracurricular development, and long-range academic positioning.

This is a comprehensive, future-focused Intensive designed to help students build a cohesive and compelling academic and extracurricular narrative over time. Sessions support intentional college list building, admissions landscape education, and timeline development, while also guiding students through curriculum selection, enrichment opportunities, volunteer planning, leadership development, and internship or work exploration. Students and families receive structured support in identifying meaningful activities that align with genuine interests while also strengthening the overall application profile.

In addition to strategic planning, this Intensive emphasizes clarity, alignment, and sustainability. Students learn how to make thoughtful academic and extracurricular choices that feel purposeful rather than performative, helping them develop a well-rounded and authentic portfolio of experiences. Sessions include guided research, opportunity identification, milestone planning, and reflective evaluation to help students and families approach the college process with confidence, intention, and long-term perspective.

AP Exam Intensive

4 Sessions

Session Length: 90mins, 120mins
Price: $1,800-$2,400

Best for:

Students preparing for one or more AP exams who want to strengthen both content mastery and exam performance, whether they are seeking to solidify an already strong foundation or significantly improve their scores. This Intensive is well-suited for students who are motivated, capable, and ready to engage deeply with the material.

This is a focused, rigorous, and highly strategic Intensive that builds fluency with the AP exam’s structure, scoring criteria, and expectations. Sessions are designed to reinforce core concepts, clarify areas of confusion, and train students to think the way the exam rewards — particularly on free-response and writing-based sections. Students learn how to approach questions efficiently, manage time under pressure, and avoid common pitfalls that cost otherwise strong students valuable points.

In addition to targeted content review, this Intensive emphasizes exam-specific strategy, analytical thinking, and confidence under timed conditions. Sessions include guided practice, strategic drilling, and reflective self-evaluation to help students understand not just what to improve, but how to improve it — empowering them to approach the exam with clarity, composure, and control.

Academic & Personal Essay Writing Intensive

4 sessions

Session Length: 90mins, 120mins
Value: $1,200-$1,600

Best for:

Students who want to improve their mastery of the English language, strengthen their writing skills prior to applying to colleges, or need drop-in support for a writing assignment. Sessions typically include technique and concept education, analysis of successful pieces, both in-session and out of session writing assignments, guided review, editing, and revision, and periodic evaluations. This package has two separate tracks

Academic Writing Track: learn the ins and outs of the Standard English Conventions of grammar, rhetorical technique, argument-building, analysis, citations, and how to develop a consistent and unique written voice. Excellent for developing the skills to write argumentative essays, analysis essays, research papers, and free-response or DBQ responses for a wide range of history, English, and AP classes.

Creative Writing Track: learn the concepts, techniques, and essentials for writing skillful creative pieces that shine, draw in the reader, and place in contests. Students gain confidence in and understanding of the elements of literature, from the basics of plot structure and character development to the implementation of suspense, twists, and surprises. Learn how to build, revise, and refine a piece of nonfiction or fiction. Excellent for students with an interest in creative writing and students who want a different way to improve their vocabulary and use of language.

Executive Function & Performance Intensive

 4 Sessions

Session Length: 90mins, 120 mins
$1,500-$2,000

Best for:

Students who are capable and intelligent but find themselves overwhelmed by workload, inconsistent in follow-through, or struggling to translate effort into results. This Intensive is particularly supportive for neurodivergent students and those navigating learning differences — including ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, processing challenges, and anxiety-related academic barriers — as well as students who simply need stronger systems and accountability to meet high expectations.

This is a highly personalized, strategy-driven Intensive that focuses on building sustainable academic regulation and performance habits. Sessions are designed to help students develop organizational systems tailored to how they naturally think and process information, establish realistic and effective time-management routines, and learn techniques for managing test anxiety and performance pressure. Students receive structured support in strengthening motivation, building academic confidence, and learning how to initiate, sustain, and complete complex tasks more independently.

In addition to practical skill-building, this Intensive emphasizes accessibility and engagement. Students learn how to approach their work in ways that feel manageable, purposeful, and aligned with their learning style. Sessions include guided implementation of systems, collaborative problem-solving, targeted practice, and reflective self-evaluation to help students understand their own patterns and develop lasting agency over their academic experience.
